Guided wave method

This unique non-destructive testing method is used to scan pipelines with restricted access. It is a valuable tool in technical inspections and in detecting structural defects, discontinuities or external as well as internal cracks. This method employs acoustic waves which propagate along a pipeline until they are reflected from an obstacle and then return to the emission source. By observing the arrival times of waves, we can estimate the location and size of defects.
