Ferrite content measurements (FE)

Ferrite remains one of the most popular type of construction materials. However, using austenitic, duplex or plated steel may cause several technological and metallurgical problems. Ferrite content measurements are used to inspect welded connections on these groups of steel by using magnetic induction properties. The ferrite content is determined based on magnetic permeability of a material.
